I serve as a Research Assistant Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, specializing in renewable energy technologies. Prior to this, I enriched my expertise as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering from May 2022 to November 2023. My academic journey began with a PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), completed in March 2022, where my research contributions earned me the title of an outstanding international student and a nomination for the prestigious "Youth Footprint" award. My commitment to advancing the field of renewable energy is evidenced by my portfolio, which includes a patent and over 20 papers published in high-impact SCI-indexed journals. In recognition of my contributions, I've been awarded an EB2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) for the United States and a Global Talent Visa for Australia in 2023, both acknowledging my potential to drive significant benefit to these countries' national interests. Beyond my research, I actively contribute to the scientific community by reviewing scholarly works for esteemed journals boasting impact factors above nine. I am thrilled to continue my pursuit of sustainable energy solutions here at HKUST and contribute to our shared vision of a greener future.
