MSc(TLE) Almuni won HKICT Award 2022

Our alumni of MSc in Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship (TLE), Ms. FUNG Ka Yan won the Merit Award of ICT Startup (Social Impact) Award, Hong Kong ICT Awards 2022, recognising and promoting outstanding information and communications technology (ICT) inventions and applications.

Her project AI Dyslexia Pre-screening System aims to provide a quick pre-screening service to students at risk of Dyslexia. The system consists of four sets of pre-screening questions, based on the criteria from our patient. The main pre-screening attributes are Word Recognition, Reading, and Writing.

The system applies AI technology, Visual Communication Methods, and Human-Computer Interaction Methods to maintain our competitive edge. Under the integration of multi-gameplay puzzles, the system provides students a pleasant learning environment, helping them rebuild their self-esteem. The aspiration of her team is to embrace an inclusive, quality, and equal educational opportunity for our lovely kids.
